About Spotit
Spotit is designed to support wound-care documentation, wound photography, measurement, care planning, review tracking, report generation, and multidisciplinary communication.
Information the app may process
Depending on the approved deployment, Spotit may process patient identifiers, demographics, clinical history, wound photographs, wound measurements, care plans, reports, consent records, audit logs, user access details, and review activity.
How information is used
Information is used to support wound-care workflow, assessment, review planning, reporting, audit activity, and service oversight. Spotit must not be used as a replacement for professional clinical judgement, local escalation procedures, or regulated clinical review.
Real patient data
Real patient data must only be used after Spotit is deployed in an approved secure environment with authenticated access, role permissions, HTTPS, protected image storage, database backups, audit logging, DPIA completion, clinical safety review, and appropriate data processing agreements.
Consent and transparency
Patients should be informed why wound photographs and measurements are recorded, who may access reports, how sharing works, and how consent can be reviewed or withdrawn according to local policy.
